- In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine the white wine and vegetable stock. Bring the mixture to a boil, then immediately reduce the heat to a simmer. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add the heavy cream and continue to simmer for 5 minutes, or until slightly reduced.
- Stir in the minced garlic and Parmesan cheese, whisking until well combined.
- Add the remaining butter, stirring until melted.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat and serve immediately.
