- In a cold saute pan add in sliced bacon. Heat pan medium heat and start to brown the bacon.
- Once the bacon starts to brown add in the onions and fry for about 5 minutes till they turn golden brown.
- Add in chard, apples, start to cook everything down.
- Reduce the heat and slowly salt, stir and cover the mixture every 30 minutes till everything becomes super tender.
- After the jam is formed add in vinegar and black pepper.
