Buttercream Caramel Apple

Everything you love about a caramel apple — but soft, creamy, and tooth-friendly. This version swaps the sticky shell for a whipped buttercream caramel that melts on contact and hugs every slice.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 stick butter softened
  • ½ cup caramel sauce canned dulce de leche
  • cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 gala apples

Method
 

  1. Beat butter until light and creamy.
  2. Add caramel and vanilla; whip until blended.
  3. Gradually add powdered sugar until smooth and fluffy.
  4. Spread or pipe frosting onto sliced apples. Press topping around the entire apple ( coconut, nuts, chocolate chips, candy corn) Serve immediately or chilled.
