Cajun Fried Salt and Pepper Peanuts

Whole husk salted peanuts are fried to a perfect crisp in coconut oil, then infused in bloomed black pepper, cayenne, onion, and garlic powder.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 ounces peanut shell on
  • 1/4 c coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 2 teaspoon teaspoons Cayenne
  • 2 teaspoon celery salt
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons paprika

Method
 

  1. To make this recipe, combined the seasoning together, black pepper, celery, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and cayenne
  2. Heat heat the coconut oil and a cast-iron skillet over medium
  3. Once oil is heated
  4. Lightly fry spices for one minute till spices become aromatic
  5. Once you begin to smell the spices in the peanuts and toss in the
  6. Once oil is absorbed, remove the peanuts from pan in place to the side
  7. Eat hot, warm or room temperature
