Hot Brined Radish

Thinly sliced radish and jalapeño peppers are quickly brined to create a spicy, tangy topping. Perfect for adding a burst of flavor, crunch, and heat to sandwiches, salads, and grain bowls.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups radish sliced
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 TB salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 jalapeño sliced
  • ¼ tsp cayenne
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes
  • ¼ tsp paprika

Method
 

  1. Heat brine ingredients until salt and sugar dissolve.
  2. Place radishes and jalapeños in a jar.
  3. Pour hot brine over.
  4. Cool, refrigerate, and let sit at least 2 hours (best after 24 hrs
