Crab and Cream Cheese Stuffed Bagels

These crab and cream cheese stuffed bagels are warm, creamy, cheesy, and packed with savory crab, jalapeno, and green onions. Thick slices of Swiss cheese create the perfect melty base while a creamy crab filling, baked until hot and lightly golden.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 bagel halves
  • 4 slices thick sliced Swiss cheese
  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • 6 ounces canned crab drained
  • 1 tablespoon fresh jalapeño minced
  • 1 green onion minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried dill

Method
 

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, drained crab, jalapeño, green onion, and dill until evenly mixed.
  3. If needed, remove a little of the inside of each bagel half to create more space for the filling.
  4. Place one slice of Swiss cheese over the center hole of each bagel half.
  5. Divide the crab mixture evenly among the bagel halves and spread into an even layer.
  6. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until the filling is heated through and the cheese is melted.
  7. Broil for about 30 seconds until the top is lightly browned.
  8. Serve warm.
