



So this ones been done a time or two but its so good it might be the only way to eat pizza. This recipe is really simple and fast. All you need is your favorite salad + favorite pizza. Now you can use any type or style of pizza although I doubt deep dish would be ideal for this. You can also use your favorite type of salad. a light underdressed salad is the key to this pizza.
Ingredients
- 1 frozen bread dough, thawed
- marinara sauce
- mozzarella cheese, grated
- parmesan cheese, grated
- 1 head of romaine lettuce, chopped
- cornmeal
- FOR THE DRESSING
- 1 tsp anchovy paste
- 3 large egg yolks
- 1c canola oil
- 1tsp salt
- 1/4c grated parmesan
- 1tsp fresh black pepper
- 1/2tsp white pepper (omit if you’d prefer a less peppery Caesar)
Directions
- In a blender add in anchovy and egg yolks
- With the blender on low add in oil slowly. slowly adding speeding to the blender ending on high
- Once all oil is incorporated lower blender to low and add in lemon, salt and pepper(s) and cheese
- Preheat oven to 400
- Roll out bread dough covering both sides with light flour so it doesn’t stick to the surface.
- Once rolls out put on baking sheet covered in a little cornmeal
- Cover dough with a even layer of marinara then top with mozzarella and grated parmesan
- Cook for 15-18 minutes let cool for 5 minutes
- In the meantime coat romaine with a 1/4c Caesar dressing
- Top cheese pizza with Caesar salad
- add on a squeeze of fresh lemon, extra parmesan cheese and extra cracks of black pepper.
