

A & W and Pork are just a match made In Heaven. Pulled pork is basically a staple in the winters. It can be a one pot meal and it always makes the house smell fantastic.
Ingredients
- 2c A&W root beer
- 3lb Boston pork butt roast
- 10 garlic cloves minced
- 1 habanero, minced
- 1/4c Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4c soy sauce
- 1/4c molasses
- 2 Tb salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1tsp red pepper flakes
- 1tsp onion powder
- 1tsp garlic powder
- 2 yellow onions , thinly sliced
- COLESLAW
- 1 small red cabbage
- 2 carrots, grated
- 3 jalapeno, seeded and thinly sliced
- 1/2c mayo
- 2Tb white wine vinegar
- 2Tb sugar
- 1tsp smoked salt
- 1tsp black pepper
Directions
- To make marinade for pork mix together garlic, habanero, Worcestershire, soy sauce, and molasses.
- Add in salt, pepper, smoked paprika.
- Cut 1 inch slices into pork and marinade overnight add enough root beer to cover pork. marinade overnight
- Preheat oven for 375. Throw entire contents from pork to marinade in roasting pan. Cover it with foil.
- Roast for 3 hours. Add in thinly sliced onions. Cook for another hour.
- In the meantime make jalapeno coleslaw.
- Combine cabbage, carrots, and jalapenos with mayo, vinegar and spices. Mix together and let sit for 30 minutes minimum.
- Remove pork from oven and drain most of liquid reserve 1-2 cups
- Shred pork with onions and serve on a bun or baked potato with coleslaw!
