This super easy recipe is the perfect side dish or snack! Ripe avocados blended together with creamy feta cheese, green onions, lemon and garlic.
Avocado and feta are two of my favorite things so I decided to combine them. Actually it wasn’t that simple. I was making a feast and realized I didn’t plan on any dips. So I combed through the fridge and decided to give these two a blend. I’m so glad I did because this will be an addition to all my Mediterranean platter from here on out. It also made a great dip for my veggies and leftover pita. I opted for blending my spread in the blender to work out all those lumps of avocado and clumps of feta cheese to give myself a nice smooth and creamy dip. This recipe was whipped up in under five minutes and had so many different uses. My personal favorite way to use it was spread across warm pita with crispy fried onions and yogurt marinated chicken topped with a crispy cucumber salad. TIPS & TRICKS FOR THE BEST AVOCADO FETA DIP:
a little goes a long way: feta is a distinct flavor. it’s not the strongest buts also not the lightest the taste of it is distinct so you dont have to use your entire block of feta to get the flavor to come through
use a blender: for this recipe i wanted a smooth and creamy dip, so i chose the blender. The blender is going to make sure everything comes together and works the lumps out. If you decide to use the food processor it will work some lumps out but not all of them. avoid mixing this recipe by hand.
cover and chill: this dip is a great do ahead. but it has avocado in it and that has a tendency to darken. ways to work around that are simple. don’t let the blender blade run too long or the heat can change the color. cover with plastic wrap and press down on the dip so there is no space for air and lastly chill it till its ready to serve.

- 2 Avocados
- 1/4c Plain Yogurt
- 3oz Feta
- 3 Green Onions
- 6 Garlic Cloves
- 2 Tb Lemon Juice
- 1tsp Fresh Rosemary
- 1Tb Parsley
- 2Tb Olive Oil
- COMBINE: Combine all ingredient in the blender and till smooth. Season generously with salt and pepper at the end.
- SERVE: Remove from the blend and top with extra feta and green onions. Serve chilled
