Sweet crab and spicy kimchi tossed with thin noodles, fried garlic, Szechuan peppers, and green onions.
A veggie and noodle stir fry is great for a quick dinner or a light lunch. It uses simple ingredients like garlic and green onions. pantry staples like Szechuan chilies and soy sauce. as a bonus, it all comes together in about 15 minutes.
When I make stir fry I like the noodles to work in tandem with the sauce or veggies it’s going to be added to. so I like them to work side by side. to do that I need everything prepped and ready to go so that when the noodles are done a quick toss and dinner is served!
This recipe involves 3 ingredients and a couple of dashes of a few seasonings. Which is perfect as a side dish, base to a noodle bowl or main dish itself. Either way, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it. TIPS & TRICKS FOR THE BEST SPICY CRAB AND KIMCHI NOODLES
fry the veggies: fry the veggies till they are a light golden brown it adds a nice color to the dish and adds some extra golden color. when you add the crab unless it is raw you’re just heating it up. so add it last. to just warm it. so reduce the heat. the hot noodles will help warm everything as well.
have everything ready: this dish moves quickly and is on the table in the amount of time it takes to boil your noodles. so have everything ready.
imitation crab: for this dish, I use imitation crab. I just like how stingy it gets in the noodles. It’s also affordable and really rounds out the dish. since it is on the sweeter side. feel free to use can or fresh crab but the intent of this dish is quick and simple lunch. let’s not overcomplicate this.
undercook the noodles: I like to stir fry my noodles. I like the added flavor. so I undercook my noodles by one or two minutes. but not by much. they shouldn’t be hard going into the other pan. so cook them under then add them directly to the veggies and sauce. cook till they are tender.
