Remoulade Sauce


Remoulade sauce if you haven’t heard the name you’re missing out. Remoulade sauce is a French condiment that is egg and oil based like a aioli or mayonnaise. Its tangy and carries some heat and its so versatile it can go with ANYTHING. Fried food, check. Sandwiches, check. Dip for anything, check check. Remoulade sauce is a mayo based sauce similar to a aioli that is seasoned with spices and chunks of pickles, onions, sometimes capers and fresh herbs. There is no wrong way to do a remoulade you’re simply putting in the stuff you like or taking some heat out. It can range from mild to spicy depending on your taste.

Ingredients

  • 1.5c mayonnaise
  • 1tsp horseradish
  • 1tsp hot sauce
  • 1/2tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp creole seasoning
  • 1tsp garlic powder
  • 1 Tb parsley, chopped
  • 1tsp lemon juice
  • 1tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1tsp cayenne
  • 1tsp salt
  • 1/4 red onion, minced
  • 1 Tb pickle relish

Directions

Add all ingredients to food processor and blend till everything is incorporated. like 1 minutes.
